Al Mazaya Islamic Senior High School Banjarmasin has a vision to form a superior Islamic generation and one of the visions is to prepare students to develop their talents and interests. This can be realized by student participation in various academic and nonacademic competitions.

Overseas

Overseas program is a trip made for educational purposes to provide students with a hands-on experience about their learning concepts in an overseas study environment. Al Mazaya Islamic School has partnered with various international schools in Singapore, Malaysia, Turkey, Australia, Hongkong and Japan to encourage our students to immerse themselves in new culture, get global exposure, enhance their English skill, develop self-confidence, and make new friends.

School Debate Competition

Female students from Al Mazaya Senior High School have once again achieved success, this time in a debate championship held by UIN Antasari Banjarmasin on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. In the competition titled “International Events 2023,” Al Mazaya Senior High School secured the 2nd place in the debate competition.

English Talent Show

On Friday, August 25th, Al Mazaya Islamic School hosted its monthly English Talent Show held on the school ground. This show features a diverse range of performances by our talented students in singing, traditional dancing, drama, speech, poetry, story-telling, talk show and tilawah Al-Quran.

Market Day

Every year, at the end of the odd semester in December, the students can be seen pacing around the school ground busily preparing for Market Day. The school is decorated with various booth stands with exceptional decorations, full of sweet to savory foods and beverages for Market Day.
